Made by Matthew (age 9)...

Matthew asked if he could make a card for his Dad with me. We went to town last weekend and he picked out a mug and cuddly monster, which he paid for out of his own money. He knew I had a monster stamp set (Woodware clear) and wanted the card to match the present.
He was very clear about what he wanted and chose the style and papers, which I then cut for him. The papers are from a digiscrap blogtrain called 'Spring Picnic' from Stuff to Scrap. He stamped and coloured the images and sentiments himself. The word 'MONSTER' and the feet are also from the Woodware set and the rest of the words came from my Elzybells clear sets.

He even went through my list of challenges to see which he could enter!...

Wow, Matthew, I'm so proud of the work you did on the card and the thought you put into the gift and the card matching. Your dad is going to be so excited to receive his gift!

My daughter is 8 years old and she just started coloring my stamped images for me. Maybe she can make a card as nice as yours soon!

From another Allison (not your mum!)

That is fantastic. I love it. Am a bit addicted to centre stepper cards right now and made a few yesterday which I will share over the coming week. I love how the sentiment scrolls along the bottom. Thank you for sharing your creation for our Man's World challenge at Bugaboo's Catch The Bug Challenge Blog. I always like to see Maculine cards as you'd probably imagine!!!
